Support the Viola Commissioning Circle

We are seeking Underwriting Members and Friends of the Viola Commissioning Circle to support running costs and the establishment of the VCC Composer Competition in 24/25 Season.

Recognition

For each work underwritten by the VCC:

• All Underwriting Members, co-commissioners and other contributors will be listed in the score
• There will be a half or full page in the premiere programme, listing the above and the Friends
• The VCC will be named as underwriters in the programme listing along with the co-commissioners and any additional principal supporters

Benefits for Underwriting Members

• invitation to attend the final rehearsal of the work’s premiere (subject to conductor’s approval)
• invitation to premiere concert interval receptions and to post-premiere concert receptions to meet composer, musician and conductor
• the opportunity to purchase reserved premium seats at the premiere at cost (these cannot be provided free because of Gift Aid benefit restrictions)
• complimentary programmes
• a copy of the title page of the score (including the underwriting and commissioning listing) signed by composer and musician
• the opportunity to purchase any CD or DVD recordings of the work and the complete score signed by composer and musician
• newsletters with regular updates on progress, together with information about performances of previous commissions and possible new commissions

Benefits for Friends

• newsletters as above and complimentary programmes
• invitation to interval receptions at premiere concerts
• the opportunity to support underwritten works if there is or might be a fee shortfall and as such will be named in the score
• invitation to support other projects such as recordings of works written for VCC musicians
