An informal concert featuring the Adès Three Berceuses and other works performed by Lawrence Power. We shall celebrate those who have become Underwriting Members since the Launch and provide an opportunity for those unable to attend the Launch to learn about our plans. The commissioning process will be illustrated by a discussion of the Gerald Barry Viola Concerto.

Then Lawrence Power accompanied by Huw Watkins will perform the premiere of the first of Three Berceuses by Thomas Adès, and other pieces written for him; you will learn more about the Viola Commissioning Circle, our plans to underwrite the commissioning of new works for the viola, and how we are seeking supporters and collaborators.
