The commissioning process will be illustrated by a discussion of the Gerald Barry Viola Concerto.
Kindly hosted by Maestro Arts
Join us for a drink on arrival. Then Lawrence Power accompanied by Huw Watkins will perform the premiere of the first of Three Berceuses by Thomas Adès, and other pieces written for him; you will learn more about the Viola Commissioning Circle, our plans to underwrite the commissioning of new works for the viola, and how we are seeking supporters and collaborators.
Followed by drinks and canapés.
Kindly hosted by Bob and Elisabeth Boas.
